Vinicius Jr. scored from the spot to restore parity but former Madrid star Alvaro Morata handed the visitors lead in the game. Real Madrid players struggled to break the AC Milan defence and pushed too many men forward allowing Tijjani Reijnders and Rafael Leão to combine for the third goal. This is AC Milan’s first away win over Real Madrid.
