The IndyCar’s Toronto Street race had to be red-flagged after a multi-car crash when Arrow McLaren's Pato O'Ward spun on the track and was hit by five other drivers. The event took place in the 73rd lap.
In the 85-lap IndyCar race in Toronto, fans witnessed cars flying all around the track. A spin coming out of turn one by Arrow McLaren's Patricio O'Ward began a terrifying chain of events in the 73rd lap when the trailing racing cars lost also control and hit Arrow McLaren Racer. Marcus Ericsson, Pietro Fittipaldi, Santino Ferrucci, and Nolan Siegel were also involved in the mega accident but luckily no one got hurt. A red flag was quickly raised to clean up.
