Illustrious Laureus World Sports Awards 2024 were presented on April 22 at Madrid. Serbian Tennis star Novak Djokovic wins the Sportsman of the Year 2024 award. With stars like F1 champion Max Verstappen, FIFA 2022 World Cup winner Lionel Messi and Tennis sensation Novak Djokovic in the race for the title, it was a close contest. The tennis star won three grand slams and also reached the 2023 Wimbledon Finals in one of the best seasons of his career. The Serbian ace recorded the most grand slams in the men’s singles category in 2023. This is Djokovic’s fourth Sportsman of the Year at Laureus World Sports events.
