Elon Musk announced on September 4, 2024, that Starlink, the satellite internet service from SpaceX, is now available in the Solomon Islands. The expansion follows a series of rollouts earlier this year. Starlink was made available in Albania in April 2024 and in Fiji in May 2024. By June 2024, Starlink had successfully reached 100 countries worldwide, furthering its mission to provide global internet coverage. Starlink also operates on over 1,000 aircrafts.
