After the success of SpaceX Starship's 5th Flight Test, Elon Musk announced that the next generation of Starlink satellites would be bigger and offer a 10x increase in bandwidth. The SpaceX CEO further said that the next-generation Starlink satellites would also have reduced altitude and faster latency. On Friday, Elon Musk's internet company, Starlink, requested the FCC to make more minor but meaningful changes to the second-generation Starlink satellites.
