Axiom Space shared a post on July 11, 2025, and announced the update on Axiom Mission 4. In the post, the company stated, “The #Ax4 crew is scheduled to undock from the @Space_Station no earlier than Monday, July 14, at 7:05 a.m. ET.” The Axiom-4 mission was launched on June 25 and was planned to return after 14 days in space. The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft took around 28 hours to reach the International Space Station, where it docked on June 26. The Ax-4 crew includes four astronauts from different countries. Commander Peggy Whitson represents the USA, Pilot Shubhanshu Shukla is from India, Mission Specialist Slawosz Uznanski Wisniewski comes from Poland, and Mission Specialist Tibor Kapu is from Hungary.
