A late night SWAT operation in Tucson’s Shadow Hills neighborhood on Friday, February 13, resulted in one person reportedly shooting himself and three others being taken into custody, authorities said. The operation is connected to the disappearance of 84 year old Nancy Guthrie. According to residents, heavily armed law enforcement officers moved into the area in the dead of night. A local woman told News 4 Tucson that she saw three individuals being apprehended. Another neighbor claimed, in an unverified account, that a person shot himself in the head as officers approached.
