Russia-Ukraine Crisis: Germany Advises Its Nationals to Leave Ukraine Amid Rising Tensions
US officials have repeatedly warned in recent days that Russia could launch an invasion of Ukraine as soon as this week, but have held out the hope that diplomacy will be able to find a solution.
Germany has asked its citizens to leave Ukraine against the backdrop of heightened tensions over a buildup of Russian troops on the border. Tensions between Moscow and NATO capitals are high following weeks of United States accusations that Russia has deployed up to 150,000 troops near Ukraine's borders for an invasion.
