As per reports, the US government wants Moderna to make a pandemic vaccine that could be used to treat bird flu in people. The development comes as cases of bird flu in dairy cows continue to grow across the country. As per a report in the Associated Press, the US government will continue to pay for the development of a vaccine that will use the same mRNA technology that allowed rapid development and rollout of vaccines to protect against COVID-19.
