A Liberia-flagged container ship, allegedly carrying hazardous goods, exploded in the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port in East China's Zhejiang province at 1:40 pm on August 9. The explosion occurred at the Beilun terminal area on the bow side of YM Mobility, a ship owned by Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation. The port authorities are carrying on the investigation but no casualties are reported so far.
