The officials were inaugurating a bridge that was meant to help locals to cross a river as they were forced to use a temporary structure which used to break often.

In a video doing rounds on social media, it can be seen that a woman dignitary is cutting the ribbon to inaugurate the bridge which collapsed under the weight of the officials standing on the bridge. Netizens are slamming the DRC officials for poor quality of construction of the bridge.
