Last night, what the IS Bindra Stadium witnessed was a Gayle storm as Chris Gayle scored a swashbuckling 104 off 63 balls and remained unbeaten against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2018. With this, the Kings XI Punjab posted a total of 193 runs by losing 3 wickets. The Jamaican left-hander hit one four and 11 sixes in his innings and was obviously a visual treat for all the cricket lovers. His innings gave an opportunity to Virender Sehwag and cricket lovers to take potshots at Gayle’s previous team Royal Challengers Bangalore, which did not retain him.

Virender Sehwag his known for not mincing words and he took to Twitter to take a jibe at RCB. He shared a couple of pictures, one with Chris Gayle in RCB’s uniform when he got out on 0 and the other image had the cricketer donning KXIP’s jersey post his terrific innings. He captioned the snaps, “If you don’t Then you don’t Love me at my Deserve me at my.”

Twitterati joined Virender Sehwag and posted nasty tweets against RCB. “RCB Owner after watching this tweet,” read a tweet.

“RCB don't understand the power of real hulk THE UNDERWORLD #gayle 💪💪💪💪💪,” read another.

“Lucky he didn't play against RCB.. wouldnt have got those 2 points too,” read a post.

This netizen did not spare Virat Kohli as well.

“2 Minutes Of Silence For #RCB Who Retained Sarfaraz Khan Instead Of Chris Gayle. 🙏,” wrote a netizen.

Here’s another funny tweet.

“Two biggest mistakes of RCB and Kohli 😏 #KXIPvSRH,” read the tweet.

Chasing a massive target, Hyderabad never looked in contention as the visitors lost wickets at regular intervals in the 16th IPL match. Hyderabad's in-form opener Shikhar Dhawan got injured on his first ball and from then, the required rate kept on increasing and none of the batsmen scored freely. Kane Williamson 54 and Manish Pandey’ s 57 could not save the team and lost the game by 15 runs.
