Six teams- Barbados Royals, Saint Lucia Kings, Trinbago Knight Riders, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, St Kitts and Navis Patriots are battling it out for the CPL 2024 title. After all the six teams play each other in the home and away format of round round-robin league, the top four teams will go into the playoff. The top two teams will face each other in the qualifier 1. The third and the fourth teams will face each other in the eliminator. The winner of the qualifier 1 will move into the final. While the loser will get another chance as they will take on the winner of the eliminator. The Qualifier 1 winner will clash with the Qualifier 2 winner in the CPL 2024 final.

The CPL T20 2023 was won by Guyana Amazon Warriors who defeated Trinbago Knight Riders in the final. In the CPL T20 2024. Along these two sides, Barbados Royals are also a contender to win the title. New entrant Antigua & Barbuda Falcons alongside St Kitts and Navis Patriots have already played nine matches each and the latter is already eliminated from the play-off race.
