The controversial episode of Koffee With Karan featuring Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul, have continued to grab the headlines, even after the BCCI suspended the tainted duo indefinitely and their replacements were announced on Sunday. BJP MP Babul Supriyo took to microblogging site Twitter, and expressed his displeasure over Diana Edulji.

Supriyo tweeted, “With due & utter respect to Diana Edulji & her contribution to Indian cricket, May I say that her thinking has got ‘fossil’ to contemplate such extreme steps. What Hardik said is deplorable, but there has to be some prudence in the way such senior minds handle the young ones.”

Supriyo went a step ahead and further stated, “There is ‘Thick’ line between reprimanding someone and destroying them!! My plea to these seniors: please behave your ages, gentlemen & ladies. Rest my case,” and tagged Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul, and BCCI in his second tweet.

Babul Supriyo made these comments on a news report stating that Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul are likely to miss the ICC World Cup 2019, which is slated to begin in May.
