Team India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya has completed one year in Test cricket. Pandya last year made his debut in the longer format of the game against Sri Lanka and since then has been an important member of the Test side as well. The all-rounder is currently a regular member in all three formats of the game. After having completed a year in Test cricket, Pandya took to Instagram and posted an image from his debut series.

The 24-year-old cricketer captioned the image as, “#OnThisDay last year: TEST From debut in to now in it's been a memorable experience so far.” Pandya is all set to play his first Test on English soil. He is part of the squad that takes on England in the five-match Test series, starting August 01 at Edgbaston in Birmingham. Video: Virat Kohli & Shikhar Dhawan Make Way to the Ground Dancing to the Beats of Dhol at Chelmsford.

Pandya has thus far represented India in seven Test matches and in 10 innings he has scored 368 runs. The all-rounder already has a Test century against his name along with three half-centuries. In the bowling department, Pandya has picked seven wickets with best figures of 2/27. Given the seamer-friendly conditions in England, Pandya will be more than handy for team India.

Meanwhile, in the practice game against Essex ahead of the opening Test, Pandya scored 51. He, however, went wicketless in his 12 overs. Team management will be hoping that the all-rounder does well in the upcoming Test series and make a mark on one of the toughest tours for an Asian side.
