India Pacers breathed fire in the first session of the opening day of the historic India vs Bangladesh Test and have put their side on a commanding position. At lunch, the Bangla Tigers were reeling at  73/6 with Liton Das and Nayeem Islam on the crease. The pink-ball was expected to favour the pacers and the troika of Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, and Mohammed Shami put a stamp on the fact. The ball did the talking in the first session and the Bangladeshi batsmen had no clue whatsoever in the match.  India Vs Bangladesh, Cricket Score 2nd Test Match.

Earlier in the day, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. They made two changes as Nayeem Hasan and Al-Amin Hossain came in for Taijul Islam and Mehidy Hasan. On the other hand, India retained their winning combination from Indore. Ishant drew the first blood by dismissing opener Imrul Kayes and hence, became the first Indian bowler to claim a wicket from the pink ball. He was quickly joined by Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav who bowled with hostility. Mohammed Mithun, Skipper Mominul Haque, and Mushfiqur Rahim were dismissed for ducks and exposed the lower order.  India vs Bangladesh Day-Night Test 2019 Sessions' Schedule: Timings of Lunch, Three Sessions.

The pink-cherry hasn’t lost its sheen yet and it will be a worrying sign for the remaining Bangladeshi batsman. Four wickets are left in their innings and the Indian bowlers will aim to claim them as soon as possible. Virat Kohli and Co won the first clash at Indore by innings and 130 runs. Hence, a win in this clash will seal the deal for them.
