The disappointed netizens took to social media and slammed KL Rahul for the taking the DRS. KL was criticised mercilessly for the bad decision. The social media users labelled him as a selfish cricketer. Check out a few tweets below:

“KL Rahul was also famous for wasting reviews in recent Test Series Against England Selfish Player #INDvAFG,” read a tweet.

Here’s another tweet.

“KL is a bit to blame for today, yes he made 61 but had the benefit of powerplay, looked average against spin, and a waste of review as well, which dearly cost us MSD and DK, both were playing spin well. #KLRahul,” posted a netizen.

“It's very tricky when you have just one review with you. Obviously, looking back at it, I felt like I shouldn't have taken the review but at that time, in the middle, I felt like maybe I was struck outside and I wanted to take that chance," Rahul said at the post-match press conference. India’s super four match against Afghanistan ended with a tie.
