Kuldeep Yadav turned out to be the boy with a golden arm today during the third day of India vs West Indies at the Saurashtra Cricket Association, Rajkot. The spinner had a lion’s share of contribution in India’s victory against West Indies by an inning and 272 runs. Yadav snapped five wickets on the day three and lead India to such an emphatic win. Kuldeep Yadav snapped the wickets of Kieran Powell, Shai Hope, Shimron Hetmyer, Sunil Ambris and Roston Chase. The Chinaman bowler recently claimed maiden-five wickets in ODI and T20I in the limited-overs series against England. With this, he joins the list of bowlers like Tim Southee, Ajantha Mendis, Umar Gul, Lasith Malinga, Imran Tahir and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. India in the first innings scored a pile of 649 runs and in reply they guests were bowled out for 181 runs in the first innings. With this, India registered the 100th victory at home. On the day one it was Prithvi Shaw who walked away with limelight scored his maiden ton on his debut. Cheteshwar Pujara made 86 runs and the India captain Virat Kohli made his 24th century breaking the records of Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar. Ravindra Jadeja got his first century off 132 runs. It was only Devendra Bishoo from the West Indies side who could snap four wickets.
