Indian Cricket Team Arrives in London Ahead of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Check Pics

Indian cricket team led by Virat Kohli today, May 22, arrived in London for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Team India earlier left from Mumbai and now have landed in London. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 begins from May 30 with hosts England taking on South Africa in the opening match. India’s World Cup campaign, however, begins on June 05 against South Africa. Ahead of the World Cup, India will play two warm-up matches. In the first match, India faces New Zealand on May 25 at The Oval in London. India’s second warm-up match is scheduled against Bangladesh on May 28 at the Cardiff Wales Stadium in Cardiff.

India comes into the CWC 2019 as strong favourites and are tipped to make it to the finals along with hosts England. India have named a strong squad for the mega tournament, however, fans were disappointed not to see Rishabh Pant in the squad. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is the 12th edition of the tournament. Australia comes into the tournament as defending champions, having won the 2015 edition. India is slated to face traditional rivals Pakistan on June 16 at the Old Trafford in Manchester. India’s final first-round match takes place on July 06 against Sri Lanka.
