However, on this occasion, the speedster has not grabbed the attention for a good reason but instead got bashed by the cricket fans for displaying lack of sportsman spirit during the 1st South Africa vs England Test in Centurion. During the penultimate over of Day 2, the right-arm pacer delivered two back to back beamers to Anrich Nortje and didn’t even apologise for it. Speaking of the match, Joe Root won the toss and elected to bat first. Riding on Quinton de Kock’s 95, the home side posted 284 runs before bundling the visitors out for 181 runs. At the end of Day 2’s play, the home side were batting at 72/4, taking a lead of 175 runs. So, the Proteas are certainly placed on the driver’s seat and England will need to put on an extraordinary performance in order to make a comeback.
