Quinton de Kock has performed well in patches this season. Nonetheless, the wicket-keeper batsman has emerged as the highest run-scorer for his side, with 393 runs in 12 matches. With a win necessary in the remaining two games, Mumbai Indians would be looking towards Kock to bail them out and contribute significantly against SRH tonight.

Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan has had a decent run in this IPL. He might have not picked up a truckload of wickets, but has still picked up 14 wickets in 12 games. What’s more noteworthy is that he has the best economy rate, i.e. 6.18, amongst the top 10 bowlers in the league. How he fares against MI will determine his side’s chances for Playoffs.

Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya has improved his big-hitting skills by notches this year. His tally of sixes, i.e. 27, and strike rate of 198.32, is only second to Andre Russell this season. Not just that, he is also the second highest run-scorer for Mumbai Indians this IPL with 355 runs in 12 games. Pandya will be a key to Mumbai’s chances to qualify in Playoffs.

Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah has had a rocky IPL season this year. However, still, he has picked up the most wickets for his side. In 12 games and 13 wickets his name, Bumrah’s economy rate of 6.61 is only second to Rashid Khan. With the game to be played on home turf and under a lot of pressure, it will be exciting to see his toe-crushing Yorkers against SRH.

One of the underrated bowlers in the Sunrisers Hyderabad camp, Sandeep Sharma has bowled stupendously and delivered consistently for his side this season. With 12 wickets in 11 games, Sandeep Sharma has been a vital cog in SRH’s camp this year. For SRH to qualify, Sandeep will have to ensure that his side doesn’t leak too many runs in the middle overs.

The hosts, Mumbai Indians, are on the third spot of the IPL 12 Points Table, with 7 wins and 5 losses in 12 matches they have played. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad is on the fourth spot of league’s standings, after 6 wins and an equal number of losses in 12 games this season.
