Pakistan’s Mohammad Abbas is creating a chaos in the Australian unit and at this pace, it looks like that the hosts would clinch the game on day 4 of the Test match. The right arm medium pacer snapped four quick wickets and destroyed the Australian unit with his killer spells. He bowled at an economy of 3.73 and claiming nine wickets, he gave away 73 runs. Abbas already got five wickets in the first innings of the second Test and with the nine-wicket haul, in the tie, he went on to become the highest wicket-taker in UAE. With this, Abbas has registered his name amongst the top five Test match figures of the last 10 years by Pakistani pacers.
Abbas has already registered his career-best figures previous at several occasions against New Zealand, England, West Indies and Ireland. In Ireland, he got 9 wickets at 12.22 whereas, in England, he registered the figures of 10 wickets at 14.19. Abbas went on to get 15 wickets in West Indies with at 19.20. In the first match which ended in a draw, Abbas went on to get 7 wickets and thus went on to become the joint-second fastest pacer to achieve the 50-wicket mark for Pakistan. Yasir Shah is the fastest Pakistani overall to 50 wickets and has reached the landmark in nine matches.
