Talking about the match today, Virat Kohli could not stay until the end of the match, but scored 45 runs facing 59 balls lacing three fours and no maximums. Mohammed Shami went on to be the Man of Match for snapping three wickets. He went on to break the record of Irfan Pathan and became the fastest Indian bowler to snap 100 wickets. He achieved the feat after he got the wicket of Martin Guptill. “Success boils down to the hard work by the team on the whole. And we always have plans for players. Plan A, Plan B. We can go from one to the next. Coming back from injury, we have good facilities provided to us. It changed things for me a bit. It was a big blow. For the next 18 months I was in rehab,” said Shami after the match.
