It has almost become a habit for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni to do something extraordinary in every match he plays, especially at the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are facing Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at Chennai's homeground Chepauk Stadium. Batting first, CSK managed 160 on a slow track, thanks to some last minute hitting by MS Dhoni and Ambati Rayudu. However, it was what Dhoni did while keeping wickets, that has amazed one and all. However, Dhoni being Dhoni, picked up the ball and flicked it at the stumps. The LED lights lit up but the bails did not come off. Replay showed that Rahul was well short of his ground but survived because the bails didn't come off. But the "Thala magic" amazed one and all. Watch the Video Here.

Interestingly, a similar incident happened with MS Dhoni during the match against Rajasthan Royals on March 31, 2019 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019. Dhoni,  who was on strike, missed the ball and the ball went on to hit the stumps, but the bails did not come off. Everyone, including the commentators were amazed at that sight.

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat the Kings XI Punjab by 22 runs in Saturday's contest at the Chepauk stadium. Chasing 160, KXIP could manage only 138/5 off the 20 overs. Harbhajan Singh shined for the CSK with the ball, taking out Chris Gayle and Mayank Agrawal in his first spell.
