After lifting the recently concluded Asia Cup 2018 trophy in the UAE, Rohit Sharma will handle the reins of the team once again. This time, Virat Kohli has been rested for the T20 series against West Indies. MS Dhoni who has not been in the best of the form has not secured a berth in the T20 series against West Indies and Australia. Rishabh Pant has been named in place of Dhoni. This will be Rohit's fourth series as the skipper of India. Talking about Kohli, he will come back as the captain for the three-match t20 series which will begin on November 21, 2018, at Brisbane. A few minutes ago the BCCI announced the squads for the T20 series. Their tweet read, “Team for three T20I match series against Windies announced Rohit Sharma (C), Shikhar, KL Rahul, DK, Manish, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (wk), Krunal Pandya, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Bumrah, Khaleel Ahmed, Umesh Yadav, Shahbaz Nadeem.”

“Team for three T20I match series against Australia announced. Virat Kohli (C), Rohit (vc), Shikhar, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Manish, DK, Rishabh Pant (wk), Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav, Khaleel,” read the second tweet.

The BCCI also announced the Test team for Australia.

The BCCI further informed that Kedar Jadhav will be a part of the fourth and fifth ODI against West Indies. Talking about the t20 series against West Indies, India will play the first match against the Windies on November 4, 2018, in Kolkata. The third match will be played in Lucknow on November 6 and then Chennai on November 11, 2018.
