Yesterday, MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja missed out on the IPL 2019 tie between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings which was held in the home ground of the Yellow Army. This raised a lot of eyebrows. Now, CSK coach Stephen Fleming gave a major update about the same and said that MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja have been sick. However, Dhoni and Jadeja are all set to return to the squad on May 1 when Chennai Super Kings will take on the Delhi Capitals. “They (Dhoni and Jadeja) both are pretty sick... both unwell, virus and bacteria... A lot of teams are struggling at the moment through that. We're looking forward to the four-day break. It's probably come one day bit too late. But we've got a four-day break now. I think Mumbai benefitted from that (five-day break). We are going to look to do the same now,” said Fleming while giving an update about the duo. IPL 2019 Points Table Updated.

The team yesterday lost to Mumbai Indians by 46 runs. It was Rohit Sharma and Lasith Malinga who helped the team lead to victory as the MI captain scored 67 runs from 48 balls. Whereas, Lasith Malinga claimed four wickets giving away 37 runs from 3.4 overs. None of the batsmen from CSK touched the score of 40 runs. CSK opener Murali Vijay scored the maximum runs for the team as he made 38 from 35 deliveries.
