The Mumbai Indian management have roped in two players this season who can have a huge impact for them this season. One of them is veteran Yuvraj Singh and the other South African wicketkeeper Quinton De Kock. Yuvi, as we all know, have been one of the greatest limited overs cricketers of all time and now at the twilight of his career will look to have one meaningful season in the IPL. Despite his glory days with the Men in Blue, Yuvi has failed to deliver in the IPL for many teams. De Kock, on the other hand, is a swashbuckling left handed destructive batsman who can provide MI with the kind of flying starts they want up top.

In a recent Netflix series based on the Mumbai Indians, fans get to know about the inner world of this IPL team and access to the lives of their favourite cricketers. Strengths

The Mumbai Indians strength lies in their all-rounders with Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Ben Cutting, Yuvraj Singh, and Kieron Pollard some of the best players suited for the T20 format. This gives them room to accommodate specialist players in either batting or bowling which helps in balancing the team. Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga make up a fantastic fast bowling pair which gives them a real edge.

Weakness

The top order consisting of Rohit Sharma and Quinton De Kock has to provide a good start. If they lose early wickets, MI can be in a spot of bother with Evin Lewis and Surya Kumar Yadav the only well-known batting specialist in the squad. Ideally, they will want their hard-hitting all-rounders to come in at the back end and up the scoring rate on a solid platform set by the top order. Mumbai Indians Team in IPL 2019: Names of Players Bought by MI in Auctions and Their Prices.
