19-year-old Shadab Khan is an asset in the Pakistan cricket team. The teenager is already made a mark at the international level and is a vital part of Pakistan’s One-Day International (ODI) and T20I set up. Apart from his leg-break bowling, Khan is also known for his handy batting and he has already won Pakistan few matches with his bat. It Khan’s fielding that makes him a complete package. Fielding at mid-off, Khan pulled off a sensational catch to dismiss Australia’s wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Carey. Though Pakistan didn’t have the great day as far a fielding was concerned, but Khan’s effort was a special one. Khan threw himself to his right at mid-off and plucked the ball with one hand. He completed the catch just inches above the ground.

Meanwhile, Australia opting to bat first in the final of the tri-series posted 183 for eight. D’ Arcy Short was the top scorer for Australians with 53-ball 76. He along with Aaron Finch shared 95-run stand for the opening stand to give Australia a solid start. The Finch-led side then kept losing wickets in the middle, but despite that managed to post a competitive total.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Amir picked three wickets while Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali and Shaheen Afridi scalped a wicket apiece. The 19-year-old spinner, Khan, picked two wickets as well. In response, Pakistan lost two wickets early with debutant Sahibzada Farhan and Hussain Talat departing in the first over.
