Harshit Rana's unfortunate Grade 1 hamstring injury, sustained during the ongoing T20I series against England, has forced him to withdraw from the ODI leg of the tour. This marks another setback for Rana, who previously missed the T20 World Cup and the entire IPL 2026 season due to a knee injury, having only recently returned to competitive cricket. Young all-rounder Prince Yadav, who has impressed in recent outings, will replace Rana in the ODI squad for the England series.
In a separate development, Varun Chakravarthy will be unavailable for the three-match T20I series in Zimbabwe.
