Many cricketers have often entertained the fans in the post-match presentation with their witty replies. However, it took Sri Lanka’s leg spinner Wanindu Hasaranga only one word to tickle the funny bones of Ravichandran Ashwin and cricket fans around the world. In the post-match presentation of Pakistan vs Sri Lanka third T20I, Hasaranga bagged the Man of the Series award and was called upon to have a chat with former Pakistani captain and TV presenter Ramiz Raja. As the leggie wasn’t very fluent in English, Sri Lankan chief selector Asantha de Mel stepped up to translate. Ramiz asked the youngster whether it was the best he has bowled. To which Hasarang replied saying “Yes”. The cricketer replied in simple English but the translator went on the explain he’s saying yes.
This goof-up proved to be hilarious for the cricket fans and everyone left in splits. The funny clip got viral on social media and entertained many cricket fans. Among them, the most notable name was Ravichandran Ashwin who also retweeted the video by captioning it “LMAO Morning!!”. Ashwin posted the video on the eve of the second Test between India and South Africa.

Talking about Sri Lanka’s 2019 Tour of Pakistan, the host clichéd the three-match ODI series 2-0. However, the second-string Sri Lankan side made an impeccable comeback in the T20I leg and thrashed the Men in Green 3-0. Pakistan are the number one ranked T20I side in the world. So, this defeat certainly stunned many experts and Pundits.
