India will play their first Cricket World Cup tournament match against South Africa on June 5, 2019, at Rose Bowl, Southampton. India has won the ICC World cup twice, one in 1983 where they defeated West Indies in the final at Lord's and another one in the year 2011, where they won against Sri Lanka in the final.
