It was truly the El Classico of the IPL 2019 as Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings went on lock horns with each other at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium for the finals. It was Rohit Sharma and men who walked away with the title for the fourth time in the history of the Indian Premier League. The Mumbai Indians went on to win the game only by a run as the match went down the live wire. Captain Rohit Sharma who was on cloud nine ran to his daughter Samaira to celebrate the victory. After the match, Rohit Sharma said, “Throughout the tournament, we played some good cricket which was the reason we qualified at the top. We planned to split the tournament into two parts, every thing we did as a team, we got the rewards for them. We have a squad of 25 players, everyone came in at some stage and did the job; the support-staff as well."
