Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi stole the show in the CWC 2019 match against New Zealand at the Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham. The Pakistani skipper snapped three wickets in ten overs giving away 28 runs and played a vital role in breaking the top order. The 19-year-old pacer bagged immense praises for his terrific bowling. “They told me to keep control on [my] line and length and not to allow [the] batsmen to settle down," the pacer was quoted as saying by Geo.tv. Afridi snapped vital wickets of Colin Munro (12), Ross Taylor (3) and Tom Latham (1). With this the top order of the Kiwis came dwindling down. Talking about the Pakistani batting line up the team lost their openers early in the game but it was Babar Azam who scored a century and took the team to the finishing line.
