Shikhar Dhawan Completes 1000 ODI Runs in England, Achieves Milestone During IND vs AUS CWC 2019 Match at The Oval in London

Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan gets 100 runs in England as India is playing against Australia at the Oval in London. After winning the toss, India elected to bat first and thus we have Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan playing currently for India. It was in the eighth over that Dhawan achieved the feat. Dhawan might have not had a very good time with the bat during the game against South Africa, but look quite good right now. Needless to say that that team and the fans are expecting fireworks from the Indian opener.  In the last game, Dhawan got out on the score of eight. Talking Dhawan’s fellow opener Rohit Sharma has also gotten past the 2000 run mark against Australia. The Indian opener has joined the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Desmond Haynes and Viv Richards. Sachin Tendulkar tops the list with 3077 runs against Australia. However, Rohit has taken fewer innings than rest of the batsmen.

As of now, India has had a good start in the game at The Oval as the openers have brought in 69 runs from 14 overs. Sharma is currently batting on the score of 30 and Dhawan is on 36.
