Sourav Ganguly is known to have played an important part in shaping MS Dhoni’s career. The wicketkeeper-batsman figuring his initial days played under Ganguly’s captaincy. And in 2006 Dhoni was part of the team which toured Pakistan. The hard-hitting batsman dished out some good performances and caught everyone’s attention.

Former India captain has now revealed that during the tour the then Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf in admiration had asked Ganguly that from ‘where did you get him’. "I still remember Pervez Musharraf asking me from where did you get him? Ganguly also said that Dhoni is a champion player when he was asked about the wicket-keeper batsman’s exclusion from the Indian T20I side. "He's another champion... Fantastic career for 12-13 years since winning the World Twenty 20. Just like everyone else he has to perform. "I wish him (Dhoni) all the luck because we want champions to go on a high, whenever he goes. I still feel he can hit the ball in the stands. He's a phenomenal cricketer," he added.

The former Indian skipper also felt that 85-90 per cent of the current team will play in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. India are currently on tour of Australia and on Sunday levelled the three-match T20I series.
