Karnataka Skipper Manish Pandey wreaked havoc against Services in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019 and registered a scintillating century. The right-handed batsman scored 129 runs off mere 54 deliveries and played a crucial role in his side’s 80-run triumph. Pandey came into bat at number three after opener Rohan Kadam was dismissed in the opening over of the first innings. The services seemed delighted with the start they got but that proved to be their last laugh as the 30-year old looked at his prime and smashed the opposition bowlers to all the parts of the ground. During the course of his innings, the dasher scored 12 boundaries and his 10 shots went over the ropes which basically means 108 off his 129 runs came in just fours and sixes. Courtsey his flabbergasting knock, Karnataka posted a mammoth total of 250 runs in their allotted 20 overs which proved to be too much for the Services as could manage only 170 runs in the second innings and eventually lost the match by 80 runs.
