Virat Kohli may be considered the best runner between the wickets in cricket. But there is one barrier he cannot conquer while running and that is Rohit Sharma. No other cricketer must have got Virat run-out more than Rohit Sharma. Try and picture this. The year is 2013, and the India-Australia series has turned out to be a run-fest. Virat Kohli has had an exceptional series so far as he had scored the fastest hundred by an Indian in a one-day International and chased down a massive total against Australia. This is the last match of the series and Virat comes out to bat amid great cheer. However, he gets out for a duck. A yes, a no, and he is run out! His batting partner was Rohit Sharma who went ahead to score a double hundred in the match. This wasn't the first time that the duo had got out while running. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have a history of running each other out and most of the times, Virat has been the victim. Here are the proofs:

1) India vs West Indies, Kingston in 2011- Virat Kohli

2) India vs Australia, Bengaluru in 2013- Virat Kohli

3) India vs Sri Lanka, Kolkata in 2014- Virat Kohli

4) India vs Australia, Brisbane in 2016- Virat Kohli

5) India vs Pakistan, Edgbaston in 2017- Rohit Sharma

6) India vs Australia, Bengaluru in 2017- Rohit Sharma

7) India vs South Africa, Port Elizabeth in 2018- Virat Kohli

So as you can see, the run out score of Rohit- Virat reads 5-2. In other words, if Rohit and Virat were playing tennis, and their cricket run-out score could be translated to tennis, the score card would read 5-2. Poor Virat Virat Kohli and lucky Rohit Sharma one would say because out of these seven occasions, on two of them Rohit has gone on to score double hundreds. However, Rohit could manage 115 in the match today vs South Africa.
