Just after the England team made history by making 481 runs in one-day internationals, it was their women’s team who created yet another T20 record. The England women’s team is currently playing the tri-series with South Africa and New Zealand. Just hours after team New Zealand had scored 216, which was highest runs in T20, team England hammered 250 runs against South Africa. Which means team South Africa gave away more than 400 in one day.

Both games were played on the same day. In the morning South Africa played against New Zealand and then a day and night game against England. The Brits were all blazing guns with Tammy Beaumont’s 116 runs off 52. Her inning comprised eighteen 4s and four 6s with a strike rate of 223.07. Danielle Wyatt contributed with a half-century, Natalie Sciver made 33 and Katherine Brunt remained not out after her contributing with 42 runs off 16 balls. South Africa was restricted to 129 for 6 in their full quota of 20 overs. England’s Katherine Brunt and Danielle Hazell clinched a couple of wickets. Whereas, Sophie Ecclestone got one wicket. With this, the hosts won the game by 121 runs.

Whereas with New Zealand it was Suzie Bates, who fired the bowlers with 124 runs off 66 balls with a strike rate of 187.87. Sophie Devine contributed with 73 runs off 48 balls. They restricted the South Africans to the score of 150 for 6. Whereas the Kiwis won the game by 66 runs.
