WWE Star Triple H Impressed With England’s CWC 2019 Win; Wrestler Gifts Customised Championship Belt to the Team

It’s almost been a week that hosts England clinched the CWC 2019 as they went on to beat New Zealand at the Lord’s Cricket Stadium. The hosts scripted history as this is the first time that England has won the ICC Cricket World Cup and the fans were obviously overjoyed with the achievement.  Congratulatory messages are still pouring in for the team for the kind of a feat achieved by them. This also included Triple H, the renowned WWE star. The WWE star had a customised championship belt for Eoin Morgan and men and announced the same on social media. “An incredible tournament, an awe-inspiring final, and a team of worthy champions. Congratulations to @EnglandCricket for winning the ICC Men’s @CricketWorldCup 2019! This custom @WWE Championship is YOURS! @WWEUK,” read the tweet. England went on to defeat Kane Williamson on the number of boundaries scored by them.

Cricket England responded to the wrestler and said that they will wear it with pride.

Jos Buttler also replied to the tweet.

Talking about the game held at the Mecca of cricket, New Zealand posted a total of 241 runs on the board. The match ended with a tie and further got into a Super Over where the hosts made 15 runs and the Kiwis also managed to make the same number of runs. The match was won on the basis of the number of boundaries scored by Eoin Morgan and men.
