Talking about the delivery which guided Chahal to the landmark, the leggie bowled a straight ball to which the right batsman tried to hit out of the part but missed it completely and his stumps were shattered. In the ongoing game, the Haryana-born bowler was introduced in the sixth but didn't enjoy a great outing as he faced a lot of hammering. However, he struck in his last over and put the opposition in the backfoot. Defending a target of 174 runs, Chahal had the onus to take some more wickets and tighten India’s grip over the match.

Earlier in the match, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first in the deciding clash. Their decision looked spot-on as both the openers were dismissed cheaply. However, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer scored half-centuries and helped India post 174  in the first innings. In reply, Opener Mohammad Nain played a scintillating knock of 81 runs and kept his side in the hunt. Nevertheless,  the tail is batting at the moment and Bangladesh's loss seems like the most likely outcome.
