The second ODI between India and West Indies 2018 yesterday at Vizag was no less than a thriller. The match might have resulted in a tie but, there were many key points into the game which were talked about. One of them was Virat Kohli reaching 10,000 run milestone which was the most talked about. The second one was Ambati Rayudu’s taking up responsibility for the squad after India lost openers, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan. Ambati Rayudu made 73 runs from 80 balls stitching 139 runs for the Indian side.

The two looked dangerous and the Windies bowlers looked helpless as the duo went on to a hitting spree. Spinner Ashley Nurse snapped the wicket of Ambati Rayudu and his celebrations remind you of Kapil Sharma’s ‘Baba ji ka thulu’ gesture. Check out the video of the celebrations.

Rayudu’s 73 innings with eight fours and no maximums. The match also witnessed Virat Kohli’s magnificent knock of 157 runs. Mohammad Shami, Yuzvendra Chahal and Umesh Yadav both wicket each. Kuldeep Yadav three wickets. Shai Hope scored 123 runs which helped the opponents to tie the match. Virat Kohli Reaches 10,000 Runs Milestone in ODIs: Mumbai Police Wishes the Indian Captain in a Witty Manner!

After the match, Virat Kohli hailed the West Indies’ effort for putting up a good fight. “First of all, I would like to say ti was a great game of cricket. Full house. Credit to the West Indies as well. They showed great heart and fight. Especially in the second innings, after they were three down, Hetmyer and Hope stuck it out. Pretty proud of my innings and my milestone [10,000 runs]. It's something that we decided pre-game. Everyone was of the opinion we wanted to bat first because it was hot and humid and also in the big games, in world cups, you might have to put runs on the board and defend. The pitch was drastically different in the second innings,” said Kohli after the match.
