Cristiano Ronaldo has been ruled out of the Atalanta vs Juventus clash because of the injury suffered during the international duty with Portugal. Juve manager Maurizio Sarri confirmed the Portuguese’s injury on Friday as the forward was absent when the squad was named. The former Real Madrid star helped Portugal seal their place in Euro 2020 by scoring in both the qualifying matches and during that he reached 99 goals for his county. However, after the game, Ronaldo admitted that he was not 100 percent fit and was playing ‘in limits for the past three weeks’. Cristiano shared a post on Instagram saying that he is working hard on his recovery and is committed to making a come back on the field as soon as possible. “Focused on my recovery to come back soon” Ronaldo captioned his post. It is still unclear whether the Portuguese forward will be ready for the Champions leaguer clash against Atletico Madrid at home.
