Frank Lampard tasted his first defeat as a Chelsea manager following the club’s 0-1 defeat to J-League champions Kawasaki Frontale in a friendly at the Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, Japan on Friday. The former Chelsea legend, who was appointed the Chelsea manager, is already under heavy expectations from the fans. Leandro Damiao headed the winner in the 88th minute after Chelsea had failed to break the deadlock despite looking dangerous for most of the game. Frank Lampard replaced Maurizio Sarri as Chelsea's head coach earlier this month. The former Chelsea player was appointed the manager following his successful outing with Derby County in the Championship. Chelsea next play Barcelona on July 23, 2019.
