After Flipkart announced the dates for its upcoming 'The Big Billion Days' sale, Amazon too doesn't want to be left behind in luring customers this festive season. To take on Flipkart's sale, Amazon will be commencing its annual sale - Great Indian Festival from October 10 onwards at 12 am IST.  Scheduled to run up till October 15, the e-retailer will provide early access for its prime members, promising offers on several products such as smartphones, home appliances, televisions, kitchen products and more. Moreover, exciting deals and discounts will also be offered on categories such as fashion, grocery, beauty, consumer electronics and more. The customers with SBI credit and debit cards will get an additional discount of 10 percent. Also, the customers loading Rs 3000 or more on their Amazon Pay Wallets will get a complementary balance of Rs 300 in their wallet.

During the sale, Amazon will also offer customers with no-cost EMI options on the products purchased through Bajaj Finserv, ICICI, Axis & HDFC. The e-retailer will also be providing free total damage protection on certain smartphones purchased during the sale. However, the company is yet to reveal the list of smartphones. India's leading e-retailer will also run contests for its valuable customers wherein the winners are entitled to get prizes worth Rs 5 lakh. Smart speakers from Amazon will also be offered with exciting discounts of up to Rs 35000 during the Great Indian Festival offer. Other smart speakers from Jabra and Bose will also be on sale with discounts of up to 60 percent.
