Cupertino, July 3:Ā AppleĀ announced its partnership with OpenAI for AI integration to its systems afterĀ dismissing two options -Google and Meta. As a part of the deal, the reports said thatĀ the iPhone maker and ChatGPT developer did not agree on monetary terms. TheĀ Apple-OpenAI partnershipĀ would reportedly benefit both companies when the usersĀ subscribeĀ to the paid services.Ā Amid this development,Ā reports said that AppleĀ would get an observer role on the OpenAI board as a part of a landmark agreement between the companies.Ā 

BloombergĀ reportedĀ thatĀ Apple and OpenAI ties would be tightened by Apple gettingĀ an OpenAI board observer role.Ā According to this report, Phil Schiller, the head of Apple's AppĀ StoreĀ and a former marketing chief, was chosen to fillĀ this role. As an OpenAI board observer. Apple recently announcedĀ its new system, AppleĀ Intelligence, which offersĀ new features to users powered by AI and machine learning.Ā The reports saidĀ that despite being late, Apple offered the much-needed features through its AppleĀ Intelligence, whichĀ is expected to roll out soon this year.Ā
