ColorOS 17 Eligible Devices: Check List of OPPO, OnePlus and Realme Smartphones

OPPO has officially commenced the global rollout of ColorOS 17, its latest Android 17-based operating system, following its international launch on October 13, 2026. Android 17 was officially released on June 16, 2026. This significant update is poised to redefine user experience across a vast array of OPPO, OnePlus, and Realme devices, with the stable rollout in India slated to begin from October 29, 2026.

The new software, which first debuted in China in September, brings a host of innovations, including a revamped design philosophy and cutting-edge artificial intelligence integrations. Notably, this update marks a pivotal moment for OnePlus and Realme users, as OxygenOS and Realme UI are being officially phased out in favour of ColorOS 17 across supported devices due to an aggressive restructuring by OPPO to unify software development and reduce R&D costs. Vivo X500e Specifications and Front Design Leaked via Online Database Listing.

A Fresh Design and Enhanced Performance

ColorOS 17 introduces the 'Living Flow Design', a visually refreshing interface characterised by translucent elements, fluid animations, and highly responsive touch controls. This new design language, built upon the 'Luminous Effect', 'Fluid Motion', and 'Flexible Feedback' principles, aims to deliver a more dynamic and intuitive user interaction.

Under the hood, ColorOS 17 promises substantial performance enhancements. The new 'Luminous Render Engine' is designed to optimise system efficiency, reportedly reducing rendering load by up to 30% and RAM usage for rendering by as much as 25% compared to ColorOS 16. Furthermore, OPPO claims a 55% improvement in app launch stability and a 50% faster loading of Gallery thumbnails on first launch.

Next-Gen AI Integration

At the forefront of ColorOS 17's advancements are its robust AI-powered features. The standout 'AI Mind Pilot' acts as a centralised AI agent, seamlessly integrating popular AI services like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Perplexity, allowing users to perform complex tasks through natural language prompts. Other notable AI additions include 'AI Photo Agent' for advanced image editing, 'AI Mind Space' for enhanced organisation, 'AI Mind Suggest' for smart recommendations, 'OSee' for visual improvements, 'Live Interpreter' for real-time translation, and 'Call Guard' for improved privacy against fraudulent calls. The update also features 'Car+ connectivity' with 'Walking Navigation Handover' for a seamless transition between smartphone and vehicle navigation.

The ColorOS 17 update will be delivered in phases, with the OPPO Find X10 series being the first to debut with the new OS out-of-the-box in India on October 22, 2026. The broader stable rollout for existing devices begins on October 29, 2026, and will continue into the first quarter of 2027. Is the AI Boom Slowing Down? ASML Long-Term Orders Point to Growth.
