With the increasing competition in the mid-range smartphone segment, Asus India will be launching its first smartphone for the year 2018 in India which will be a battery centric product in the Zenfone Max-series. To be christened as Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, the new smartphone will make its way to the market after the company announced a strategic alliance with Flipkart last week. To be fitted with a massive 5,000 mAh battery, the smartphone will also be packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC. As per the recent renders, it is also believed that the smartphone will carry a 6-inch full HD+ display panel featuring 18:9 aspect ratio. Other highlights of the smartphone are expected to be dual rear cameras, circular fingerprint sensor, face unlock feature and much more. Going by the latest leaks, the new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone will also get 4GB of RAM, dual SIM slot and microSD slot for memory card. It is also rumored that 6 GB RAM variant along with 64GB onboard storage will also be on offer. For photography, the new Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone will sport dual cameras at the rear featuring 16MP sensors with support for portrait mode, and a 16MP secondary camera with dedicated LED flash. Moreover, official specs and other details about the new Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone will be revealed at the launch itself. As the smartphone will be pitted against the devices such as Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Vivo V9 Youth and Honor 9 Lite, we believe that the handset could be priced in the range of Rs. 14,000 to 18,000.
