Honor, Huawei's sub-brand is all set to launch its new flagship device - Honor 10 in the global as well as Indian market today. The new Honor 10 flagship device was launched in China last month. After rolling out the device in the Chinese market, the smartphone maker is now gearing up unveil the device in the markets such as UK and India. The company will be unveiling the device today at an event in London at 2pm BST which is approximately 6.30pm IST. The launch event of the smartphone will be live streamed online on YouTube channel. Considering the prices for the smartphone in the China market, we speculate that the entry level variant of the Honor 10 could be priced around Rs. 27,800 while the top end variant could see a price tag of around Rs. 32,000. The smartphone could be offered in 4 exciting shades - Black, Grey, Mirage Blue, and Mirage Purple. Once launched, the new Honor 10 will be pitted against the likes of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and the forthcoming OnePlus 6.
Talking about the specifications, the flagship product from Honor will sport a 5.84-inch full HD+ LCD panel with 1080x2280pixels resolution and aspect ratio of 19:9. The smartphone will run on EMUI 8.1 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo and will be powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM on all variants.
For optics, the Honor 10 will sport a dual camera setup at the rear featuring 16MP primary and 24MP secondary sensors along with dedicated dual LED flash and f/1.8 aperture. At the front, the smartphone will carry a 24MP snapper for selfies and video calling. The handset will be packed with 3400 mAh battery with fast charging. For connectivity, the smartphone will be fitted with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The dimension figures of the handset will stand at 149.6x71.2x7.7mm and weight is 153 grams.
