Reliance Jio-backed conversational AI firm Jio Haptik has launched an AI-native platform named Solo, specifically designed to assist solopreneurs and small business owners in automating essential marketing, sales, and customer support operations. The company aims to provide small-scale enterprises with affordable access to advanced business tools that have historically been reserved for larger organisations.

Solo AI Business Tools for Entrepreneurs

The Solo platform, available on Google Play and App Store, functions as an autonomous AI business team, featuring two primary digital teammates: Tara, who oversees marketing activities, and Ved, who manages sales and customer support. Users can initiate the service by connecting their website or Instagram account, or by uploading product images. The system then analyses the business context to generate social media content, create advertisements, and handle WhatsApp-based customer inquiries automatically. X Video Editor: Elon Musk's Platform Launches New Editing Tools With Multilingual Captions.

Scaling AI for Small Businesses

Jio Haptik plans to reach more than two million solopreneurs and small businesses across India over the next three years. As per a report by Economic Times, more than 10,000 businesses have already been onboarded during the platform's early access phase. The solution is currently available on Android and iOS devices, offering both a free tier and premium subscriptions starting at INR 2,000 per month. DeepSeek Reportedly Developing In-House China-Made Chips to Boost AI Inference.

Enhancing Operational Efficiency

The platform targets businesses operating primarily through Instagram and WhatsApp, including home-based services, clinics, salons, and freelancers. By delegating routine tasks like lead generation and content creation to AI teammates, business owners can focus on core management responsibilities. Jio Haptik leadership noted that the shift from simple AI agents to autonomous AI teammates is intended to redefine how millions of micro, small, and medium enterprises operate in the coming decade.
