We recently reported that Lenovo Group is planning to launch its next flagship smartphone in China on June 14 which was tipped by Lenovo VP Chang Cheng. The teaser from the VP confirmed that the next-in flagship device will sport more than 95 percent of screen-to-body ratio. Moreover, Cheng has released another teaser confirming the name as well as the design of the smartphone that is slated to launch next week. Confirming the Z5 moniker, it is believed that the Chinese smartphone maker has no plans to retail ZUK branded smartphone now. It is speculated that the company will be introducing the flagship device to challenge Xiaomi’s smartphones like Mi Mix, Mi Mix 2 and Mi Mix 2S. The sketch reveals that it will carry the largest screen ever fitted on a smartphone with no top and bottom bezels. Going by the sketch, it is believed that the Lenovo Z5 will carry metallic chassis as the antenna bands on the left edge.

Mr. Cheng also confirmed that the company has managed to achieve 4 technological developments as well as 18 patented technologies with Z5 device. He previously also mentioned that the Lenovo has developed a comprehensive screen for its flagship device by decreasing the space occupied by components like camera, bezels and antenna bands. Presently, not many details are available for the flagship device. However, it is confirmed that the smartphone will be ditching the display notch upfront. Expect more rumors, speculated features and details leaking out about the smartphone ahead of its scheduled launch.
